Payday failure for a majority of the nation is a real thing in today’s workplace.
What do we mean by that strong statement?
James Livingston, a historian at Rutgers University in New Jersey was quoted in a August 2022 Popular Science magazine article titled, The End of Labor. He said, “…25 to 40% of full-time workers are at or below the poverty line.” Even though this is the same guy who said that he “hates white people”, one must cringe at both statements.
It is a crazy that almost half the working public is at or below the poverty line.
It begs the question, why would we want to work at all?
Well, before this becomes an article on why you should be unemployed and live the life of a carefree hippy that ignores the duties of the day, let’s keep it in perspective. We all want to do better, right? And payday failure is a real think, right? Perhaps. But to fix a lack of proper income, we need to maximize our performance ratio for producing income.
That takes using brain cells, thinking about things and digesting your life’s position:
- Where are you today?
- Where do you want to be tomorrow?
- Or a year from now?
It takes goal setting after realizing the current scenario.
Now, I don’t have a degree from Rutger’s – or any college for that matter as you can probably tell by my unofficial abuse of the English language. Ecommerce is a powerful tool to offset your income and add to your bottom line. The technologies of the day are very powerful and can produce unimaginable revenue with a little effort. And, anyone can do it.
I did it without a college degree or any sort of formal technological training in the field of Ecommerce. You can too.
Ignore the professors like James Livingston who want you to get a base salary for doing nothing but existing. No, take action and the benefits will come your way. That is how it works. You plant a seed, water it, tend to it and it will grow. Watching the seed and thinking good thoughts will get you nowhere.
